We are a public hospital under the ambit of Medical and Health, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The foundation stone was laid on 5th April ,1889 by Lady Dufferin as Dufferin Hospital. It wasrenamed on 22nd August 1997 as Veerangana Avanti Bai Women Hospital by GO-UP. The foundation stone for a 24- bedded private ward was laid in 20th March 1972 by Dr. Mandossa ( Joint Director-Medical Health-UP). Now we have 326 beds- 300 Obstetrics & Gynecology, 18 SNCU beds and 8 -Bedded HDU .
